Chocolate Apple Slices
Delicious, colourful and crunchy, these chocolate apple slices are a new favourite snack of mine. Simply 5 ingredients, easy to make and simply gorgeous!
Ingredients
2 apples thinly sliced - I used pink ladies
1/2 cup dark chocolate
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
Instructions
1. Wash, dry and thinly slice the apples.
2. In a small bowl, melt the chocolate either in the microwave by increments of 15 seconds and stirring in between until the chocolate is melted or using the “bain-marie” method.
3. Dip apple slices in the melted chocolate so that half of the slice is covered in chocolate, and place on a sheet of parchment paper.
4. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds and desiccated coconut on top.
5. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.
6. Enjoy!
Store chocolate apples in the fridge for 2-3 days. Enjoy before the apples start to brown.
